As a veil designer I have always loved looking back at photos of weddings that dated from the 1920s and 1930s. It has been wonderful in recent years to see a resurgence of Bridal wear which has been influenced by designs of that era. We are in the process of  adding a range of Vintage Veils to our collection. We are currently working on commissions for our Brides and these images will be added after their wedding dates. Celebrity Wedding Veil of Kate Moss

 

 

Following the recent wedding of Kate Moss we have had a number of Brides hoping to purchase a veil similar to the veil that Kate Wore. We are pleased to announce that we now have images for you to view.

 

These images are created in Ivory. We can now create this veil in white silk tulle with white French Calais Lace. We are now able to offer handmade belgian princess lace veils in Ivory and white. These veils can also be dyed to match the colour of your wedding dress. A sample of your dress fabric will be required. Images and prices are on our belgian lace page. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 The veil can be created in two lengths, ( or made to your requirements)

 

Waist length veil, 2 Oval Drop layers - first layer 29 inches, 2nd layer 49 inches long

 

Full length 2 layer veil, Fingertip 70 inches, Chapel length 250 cm

We have created the Kate Moss veil in two finishes; tulle and then a second from Silk and Lace. There are more images in the Gallery below.

The First is  created  from Ivory Tulle for both layers

   

 

 The second is created rom Ivory French Lace and Ivory Silk tulle.

It is possible to have the veil made from two layers of silk tulle. The veil can be worn over the face but this would determine the length of the shorter layer so that the ornate lace pattern does not obsure your face. Our Kate Moss is attached to your hair by a series troupe clip sewn under the front band of ribbon.

 

 To create the detail layer you can chose from the following two lace options. These are both French Laces with a delicate pattern throughout. We have other lace fabrics options on our Bolero page. These laces are less expensive and can be used to create the Kate Moss veil but these laces have a heavier pattern and a less ornate scalloped edge when compared to the French laces shown below.

We are pleased to introduce a range of handmade Belgium Princess lace Veils. These veil are handmade in Belgium and can be ordered in White, Ivory or for a small additional cost they can be dyed to match the colour of your wedding dress.

 

The Veil is an oval veil design which can be worn as a mantilla veil flat on the head or we can add a comb to create two layers of which one layer can be worn over your face. We can use the veil to create the Kate Moss Wedding veil and attach the veil to the ribbon juliet cap headpiece. You may chose to have one just one layer created in  the Belgian Princess lace veil.  Juliet Cap Veil

We have recently created the Debbie Veil, Juliet Cap Veil for one of our Brides. For this veil we created a Juliet Scull cap shape in Ivory Satin. It was then overlaid with Ivory French Leivers lace with a Scalloped Trim. The veil was then attached to the waist length veil made of Ivory Tulle with a cut edge.

This veil can also be created in Ivory Silk tulle and in longer lengths. The cap is attached to the head by a series of troupe clips across the front of the veil. We added a diamante and clear beaded motif to the side of the headpiece and this had blue sawarovski cyrstals to match the Bride's colour scheme.

 

We created a second hairclip for the Bride to wear once the veilw as removed. This Veil can also be created without  the Juliet Scull cap and the Lace can lie flat on the head. More Images are above in our Gallery.

 

NEW  Grace Kelly Vintage Cap Veil 

 

Grace Kelly Vintage Cap Veil

We have recently created the Grace Veil, a Juliet Cap Veil inspired by Grace Kelly's wedding veil. For this veil we created a Juliet Scull cap shape in Ivory Satin. It was then overlaid with SIlver Metallic French Leivers lace. This Veil can be worn over the face. It is shown with a fingertip drop veil. The veil is gathered at the side of the cap. Any length, lace overlay or edging can be selected. 

 

 

 Roslyn Cap Veil

 

 

 Roslyn Cap Veil - We are delighted to add an additional vintage veil design to our range. This veil sits flat across the head and is gathered across the full width of the fabric at the nape of the neck. This sample has been created in Champagne tulle and the cap section is edging with a Champagne, Ivory and Gold beaded edging. It can be created in any colur of tulle or edging. 

 

 

 

 

Rosie Cap Veil

 

 

 

 

Rosie Juliet Cap Veil - Our Rosie Juliet Cap veil is an additional Juliet Cap shape to the Debbie veil. It has a structured half cap base which lies flat on the headand is attached to the head with troupe clips. The base is covered with Ivory French Leivers lace. The veil is then gathered to the back of the cap. This veil has a cut edge but lace can be added to edges of the veil. It can be created in many colours.

 

Lily Allen Juliet Cap Veil 

Our Lily Allen Juliet Cap veil is eventually finished! I modelled the final product at a recent wedding fair. More detailed images of the veil will follow. The cap section has been created in Ivory French Calais lace and is overlaid on Ivory Silk Tulle Veil. This sample is made in a very narrow width. Both width and length can be made to your desired proportions. The side flowers are made in Ivory Silk tulle and Ivory Tulle. The veil can be constructed without the flowers. This veil can also be made in White and it can be made with Lace and Ivory Tulle.
