The Cascading Lace Cloak is made from French Lace in plain and corded fabrics. The ornate pattern is engineered into the fabric. All cloaks have scalloped edges.
This dramatic fabric contracts well with any of the silk gowns.
Cascading Lace was born from my own search for my perfect wedding attire. It appears I was a classic bride and I was drawn to the iconic images of Grace Kelly and Jacqueline Kennedy for inspiration. Their wedding ensembles were timeless and elegant. Both brides had flowing veils made from lace fabrics. I searched many bridal shops but could not find veils made from lace. I also wanted to have a headpiece and did not want my choice to be restricted by the conventional veil structure. The result was a huge success. Cascading Lace is the combination of many design elements and mirrors many of the bridal trends. It provides:
• Covers the bride’s shoulders. With the increase in strapless gowns Brides need to cover their shoulders if marrying in a religious ceremony. This cloak acts as a veil and bolero. • Freedom to chose Headpiece. As Cascading Lace is gathered on your shoulders you can chose a dramatic headpiece. Modern bridal trends have seen brides moving towards fascinators and hats rather than tiaras. This way you can have a veil and headpiece. |
Ornamentation
Beading, Diamonte and Swarovski can be added to the pattern of the French Lace.
Giftbox
Each Cascading Lace will be presented in a Keepsake box to preserve it as a family heirloom to pass onto the next generation.
